About C & J Photography

Craig and Julie at the Radisson SAS Sharm el Sheikh in December 2002 The picture on the left was taken during our vacation at Sharm El Sheikh in December 2002.

We live in a quiet part of Littleport, a small town mid way between Cambridge and Kings Lynn, which until recent times held the title of Britains largest village.

Craig is one of the brave soles who can regularly be seen before sunrise on the London bound platform at Littleport station. He is a Chartered Accountant and Licensed Insolvency Practitioner, working for Ernst & Young LLP as a Senior Manager in the Transaction Advisory Services department.

Craig is supported by his wife Julie, without whose tireless support, his world would not function. A full time role if ever there was one!

Our Equipment

After much research, it became a straight choice between Nikon and Canon when I decided to upgrade my Minolta film camera in 2005. The exceptional reviews of the EOS 20D and the wide range of quality optics made the decision a "no brainer" and I have not regretted the choice!

We use a variety of equipment, with the Tamron zoom being our walk-about lens, given its fast aperture and reasonable coverage. For birding, we use the Canon 400mm, which can be hand-held in good lighting conditions. Our dream lens is the Canon 600mm f/4, but unless we win the lottery, or I take leave of my senses, it will remain only a dream...
